Venda(R) Merchant iGo Sees Conversion Rate Increase of Over 100%

iGo Sees Immediate Benefit From the Venda eCommerce Solution

NEW YORK, January 7 /PRNewswire/ -- iGo, Inc. the leading provider of power management solutions (http://www.igo.com/) including eco-friendly chargers for laptop computers, netbooks and mobile electronic devices was pleased to announce a significant jump in revenues following the move to the Venda eCommerce solution (http://www.venda.com/).

After six years of selling online, iGo faced a number of limitations. With its previous ecommerce solution, the lack of advanced search, merchandising, and cross-sell capabilities made it difficult for their customers to easily find the right products and accessories. The eCommerce storefront's dated design and limited content management capability was also not compatible with iGo's advanced technology brand image.

After extensive evaluation of the leading eCommerce providers and various deployment models, iGo chose Venda's Software as a Service (SaaS) eCommerce solution. Working closely with iGo's marketing department, Venda's expert design team crafted a completely new online shopping experience appropriate to iGo's brand image. The new creative design was incorporated into a site hosted and supported by Venda that utilizes search engine optimization, shopper usability, and advanced merchandising best practices and capabilities.

"We're delighted with the new site design provided by Venda. Our ability to easily manage site content, product information, and merchandising through Venda's web-based management tools, allows us to keep our site fresh with new content, ads, and promotions." said Jason Edwards, Director of Web Marketing at iGo.

Venda's advanced search and guided navigation enables iGo shoppers to quickly locate the power charger, adaptor tips, and other power related products compatible with their specific needs.

"For the first time, we started discounting some product categories up to 25% using Venda's robust promotions engine. Even with this aggressive discounting, our average order values remain level and have subsequently grown 5% since site launch 3 months ago. We look forward to continuing this growth trajectory." concluded Mr. Edwards.

Venda's capability has also resulted in a browser to buyer conversion rate surge of 108%, and a more appealing shopping experience resulted in shoppers viewing 84% more pages per site visit, helping contribute to average order value and conversion rate increases.

Jeff Max, CEO of Venda Inc commented, "I am pleased that our comprehensive ecommerce solution has once again proved very successful in driving fast Return on Investment for iGo. The broad toolset that we have covers every aspect of our merchant's customers' experience, and I look forward to our client services team working with iGo to drive some more positive results in 2010."
