SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- (Marketwire) -- 05/02/12 -- Informative Graphics Corporation (IGC), a leader in viewing, collaboration and redaction technology, today announced it has achieved a Silver Content Management Competency in the Microsoft® Partner Network, demonstrating its ability to meet Microsoft customers' evolving needs in today's dynamic business environment. This is IGC's second Silver Competency, having already achieved the Silver Independent Software Vendor Competency in 2011.
To earn a Microsoft Silver Content Management Competency, IGC had to demonstrate a proven track record of using Microsoft content management solutions like SharePoint 2010 to help customers efficiently and effectively manage their information, and to make that information easy to find, share and use.
The Silver Competency criteria required IGC to employ two Microsoft Certified Professionals (MCPs) who have passed Microsoft's rigorous exams on SharePoint 2010 application development, administration, or configuration. IGC also had to provide three verifiable customer references attesting to the quality and usefulness of the company's viewing, collaboration and annotation solution, Brava!®, which integrates with SharePoint.
IGC continues to invest in technology that extends and enhances SharePoint 2010. IGC CEO Gary Heath said, "This Silver Competency showcases IGC's continued expertise and knowledge of Microsoft and its products, including SharePoint. We are proud to add the Content Management Competency to our list of Microsoft distinctions and are committed to staying up-to-date on Microsoft technology as it continues to evolve."
"By achieving a Silver Competency, organizations have proven their expertise in specific technology areas, placing them among the top 5 percent of Microsoft partners worldwide," said Jon Roskill, corporate vice president, Worldwide Partner Group at Microsoft Corp. "When customers look for an IT partner to meet their business challenges, choosing a company that has attained Microsoft competencies is a smart move. These are highly qualified professionals with access to Microsoft technical support and product teams."
