AME Software Products, Inc. has announced the availability of AME Payroll (Professional Edition) software through select retailers, entering the channels by an agreement with Global Marketing Partners, Inc. The partnership will distribute AME Professional Edition to resellers in North America through Navarre Corporation, publisher and distributor of physical and digital home entertainment and multimedia products. AME Professional Edition targets tax professionals and small to medium sized businesses, allowing customers to quickly and efficiently complete a payroll cycle - print checks, create direct deposit files and produce federal and state forms. AME Payroll will satisfy the needs of most businesses that do payroll in-house and professionals that use the program to provide payroll services. Designed with usability in mind, AME Payroll is distinguished for its easy-to-use interface and extensive capabilities.
“AME’s accounting expertise allows them to develop easy to use business applications,” said Mr. Urda, owner of an accounting firm in California. “AME Payroll is a core product of our accounting practice. We use it to process payroll for more than seventy clients. We appreciate AME's technical support over the phone.”
The Professional Edition is marketed as a stand-alone application that integrates seamlessly with AME Accounting Suite, to facilitate the flow of accounting information between Payroll, General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable modules. Available AME Payroll add-ons such as Direct Deposit, 1099 Vendor Management, PDF Converter, MICR check printing, E-filing for W2 and 1099 employees, will further suit the needs of most service providers.
Business owners will also benefit from cost-savings through in-house payroll processing – outsourcing can cost upwards of $250 per pay period, whereas, that same amount covers a full year of unlimited AME technical support. The software holds no limitation on the number of employees or companies and all information can be shared within a network as a collaboration platform. AME Payroll (Professional Edition) comes with unlimited licenses per business location.
